The changes to apprenticeships and EPA has raised many challenges and questions. Best for Training are working with many apprenticeship training providers to inform their staff of the major changes, how this impacts on apprentices, how to support them effectively and plan their individual learning journey.  By completing the 1 day CPD training in the new apprenticeship standards and End Point Assessment, you are providing your staff with excellent, relevant continuous professional development which will benefit your organisation, staff and apprentices.

We will deliver this training event for your staff in your own organisation. We would be happy to accommodate up 16 people in one group so if you would like to offer this training event to other local colleges and training providers then this would be an excellent opportunity for them and also enable your staff to share practice and experiences of the new standards with others. The programme can be adapted to meet the specific standards that organisation delivers, please email for further details.

This training can be offered on your site, face to face or remotely with live training via Teams providing an interactive session. If you chose a face to face session, there will be an additional fee of £400 to cover tutor expenses.

If you would like further support with your apprenticeship delivery, we also offer consultancy services to colleges and apprenticeship training providers to prepare for Ofsted inspections and monitoring visits.

The training day begins with an overview of standards and assessment plans; ensuring all staff fully understand the importance of these documents, their content and how this applies to the apprentices learning journey. We look at the importance of Gateway and relationships with employers to ensure apprentices are fully prepared for their End Point Assessment. We then move onto look at the assessment methods used in End Point Assessment, how these are applied in practice to enable staff to fully understand how to prepare their own apprentices for their EPA.

Our training is designed by former Ofsted inspectors and throughout the day helpful hints and tips are shared with staff to help them understand the Ofsted requirements and the best practice expected from apprenticeship providers.
