Sexual Abuse CPD for Counsellors

Our Counselling CPD course, is aimed at counsellors working with clients who have experienced sexual abuse. Excellent professional CPD for experienced counsellors and invaluable training for trainee counsellors delivered by an expert in this field.

We see people all over the world speaking up with #MeToo explaining that they also have been victimised through sexual abuse. As therapists, how do we work with such a difficult trauma? It can be challenging to find the words, when every word feels too painful, or confrontational. This CPD will explore how we can safely navigate through this maze, working with a client’s sense of shame or self-blame. We will also explore how the role society plays in all of this.

This training will count towards the CPD requirements of practicing counsellors.

Our CPD workshops are incredibly popular and spaces are strictly limited. Please book now to secure your place.

The CPD training is 2 hours.

The price includes:

  • Highly qualified trainer and counsellor
  • CPD certificate providing evidence of course content and CPD hours.
