Recognising Stress and Anxiety in Young People
This 3 hour CPD Counselling workshop focuses on recognising stress and anxiety in young people.
Our course is run by a qualified counsellor and teacher with extensive experience of working with children and young people who are experiencing severe stress and anxiety.
Sadly, research has shown that UK children are among the most stressed in Europe. Pressures on young lives are common and can caused by a wide range of causes, for example, exam stress, chaotic home situations or bullying. It’s vital that early recognition and intervention strategies are used to prevent decline in mental well-being.
This CPD is aimed at teachers, pastoral care/ well-being staff in schools and other professionals that work with children and young people who have been affected by anxiety and stress. This workshop will help staff identify the signs of stress and an anxiety and give practical ways to support children and young people who are anxious and stressed.
