Online live training – Level 4 Designated Safeguarding Training for Early Years
Our level 4 Designated Safeguarding Person training is designed for staff in Early Years settings who have responsibility for safeguarding children. This course is suitable for Designated Safeguarding Leads and Designated Safeguarding Officers or those who assume those responsibilities working with babies and children within the Early Years sector.
This training is delivered online via Zoom by expert trainers who are former Ofsted Inspectors and experienced safeguarding trainers. This is an interactive and engaging training session with opportunities for discussion and reflection, use of relevant scenarios and case studies and includes the latest updates from legislation and Ofsted.
As explained by Ofsted, “the lead practitioner is responsible for liaison with local statutory children’s services agencies, and with the LSCB. They must provide support, advice and guidance to any other staff on an ongoing basis, and on any specific safeguarding issue as required.”
This training is designed to give attendees the knowledge and confidence to undertake this demanding and vital role.
All our safeguarding training is delivered by former Ofsted Inspectors and approved safeguarding trainers with excellent occupational experience. All our safeguarding training includes the PREVENT duty as standard.
